My brothers and my sisters today I would like
to meditate with you about the beating of God to our lives. Psychologists say
that all of us without exception have a place in our lives that neither the
intimate person that we make. In other words: Each person has a dot in corner
of life is your private. No one can penetrate in this place. But then you guys
would ask me: and God Can enter this place or cannot? Can. He can do all
things, since it is omnipotent. But the question persists: He enters? The
answer is: do not enter. Why not? God is sweet. Gentleman, Sweet, gentleman. He
does not go into a still life that really wants to do this unless when invited.
He created us with free will, the ability to choose what we want for our own
will. We are not puppets of God. We are intelligent beings who think freely and
we take our decisions, we make our choices.
So God even seeing our anxieties and pains only kicks in when we allow. Brothers
and sisters, that's amazing, but that's how it works. Our lives are really
independent lives. We're not robots. That is why we are responsible for our
actions. Even if we are tempted to do something like the God are only tempted.
The decision to do, give in to temptation. That's why we are accountable for
our sins. Temptation is just temptation. The practice is our.
Back to psychologists when they say we have a
place in our lives that we do not allow anyone to enter. We call it intimate
privacy. All normal people have this privacy. For this reason God even though
we need into our lives to help us not enter without knocking. A good friend of
mine already nostalgic memory, Rev. John w. Garrison was a great artist and
preached painting. Had an amazing gift. In the paintings he pitava Jesus Christ
knocking on a door. But there is something interesting in this context: the
door has no lock. When questioned why she didn't have that lock Garrison
answered: This is the door of the heart. Only lock from the inside. Only the
owner can open. She can't be opened from the outside. Well my brothers and my
sisters. It's so God relates with us. He sees our needs come to knock on the
door of our life. If we open it enters us and promotes the supper (party) in
us. When we're not open there is the Act of God and we are still in sorrow and
suffering. But God is merciful, God is good. He knows that we are proud,
pretentious and often resisted opening the door of our lives to him and insist on
hitting.
While you are reading this message, God may
be knocking on the door of the lives of you and need to enter and promote the
party, solve the problems. But will if you open the door. It's up to each of
us. God is knocking. Let's hear your voice and open the door of our lives to
the Lord. Amen.
Reverend Jesué Francisco da Silva.
