My brothers and my sisters I’m aware that all of us
know at least the basic about the reason of being of Christ's Church in this
world. But I also know that not always we acted as if we were that very clear
aware in our minds. And why do tell that? I speak because I see that our
behavior evidences that. Will we think about the case? Because we come or is it
going to the Church? Or better, because we participated in a Church? Which is
our larger objective in that? Are we of the Church why? What are making as
Church of Christ? Usually we come or it is going to the Church and of it participates
to feel well. That is the main reason of our critics and murmuring. The Church
has to correspond to our expectations and when that doesn't happen were become
irritated and we murmured the whole time. The pastor of the Church has to speak
in agreement with what waited. We prayed for God to use his mouth, but we want
to hear what we liked and God not always speaks that we liked, but the one that
we needed hear. When the pastor speaks inside about our expectations spoke that
God used him mightily. But when no... We Thought it was him (the pastor who
spoke) and wanted to reach that
brother or that sister. If we
feel the word spoke to us... There then murmured against. We were infuriated
and in the first opportunity we attacked our Pastor and we suggested his
transfer. He doesn't serve more. And the worst is that we arranged a series of
arguments for us to justify our posture or position. Friend and dear, all this
is because our vision about the Church of Christ is cloudy, hazy. We don't have
clarity on our mission while Church. We got lost easily among the that we want
and that the Church should be and to
do. Wanted and friend the Church is the
authentic representative of Kingdom of God in this world and to work or to be
linked Church means to be working and linked in Kingdom of God. Our mission is
to do disciples and to win souls, lives for Kingdom of God. Theologically
called that to build Kingdom of God. Friend and wanted when we thought like
this and we see the Church for that angle the things change and mainly our
behavior inside of Christ's Church. We started to understand that those and
those that are preaching or making other work in the Church are to service of
Kingdom of God and, therefore we should not criticize them. Our vision will be
returned always for the mission and we understood everything of the point of
view of the mission. Personal, anything to please us. Of course to feel well it
is part of the process. But that is not the objective to you and I be in the
Church. A small group that understands still exists what means to be Church and
to be working in the same. That group is not at the alone Church to feel well.
As I said that does part of the process, because who is determined in the work
of God will feel very well where it is.
It will always be in a happy communion with all the Disciples' maker. Who
has clarity of the mission of the Church doesn't lose time fighting for things
and especially personal things. For that person Kingdom of God is much larger
than everything and it is in him and with him that all of us are involved as
Church of Christ. Making disciples and in the roads of the mission. Friend and
wanted leave our "cubicle", we left our mistaken vision and a lot of
times archaic and let’s insist in the mission of winning souls, lives for
Jesus. Let’s see the biblical text above that says: "Make disciples of all
of the nations "... Amen.
