PASTORAL WORD – GOD WANTS the Union of HIS PEOPLE (Eez. 37:15-28)

My brothers and my sisters today I would like to meditate with you on an issue which I think very important to the Church of Jesus Christ in our days. The biblical text to our meditation talks of the kingdoms of Judah and Israel. There was a split in the people of God. Obviously this division only weakened the people before your enemies. But pastor, if the text speaks of kingdoms in the old Covenant has no nothing to do with us. But I would say Yes. Has and. Whenever the Bible speaks of the people of God in the old Alliance can bring here and consider how the people of God the Church of Christ. It has everything to do with us.
But I call your attention to some aspects in the text. First, the text says that the two realms, that is: the people of God divided was two pieces. How it strikes me. Hence the weakening of people. Only two pieces. Were not integers. Were not
enemies of God. God makes it clear that he loved both. The problem was among the people. It wasn't a problem to God. Nowadays we have seen some casualties in Evangelical churches because of the divisions within the Church. There's much less Union Unity in the churches. What there are are many parties and cliques that make it difficult to walk to church and weaken in the execution of his work as the representative of Christ that is and therefore should work on building your Kingdom. The Kingdom that the Church promotes is the Kingdom of heaven. That's why I could never be divided. When this happens it is not the interests of the Kingdom of God that are at stake and the interests of persons or corporations within the Church. Even in Apostolic times already saw this evidenced in the words and Paul: some say I am of Peter, others, I am of Paul, others I am of Apollo. Paul then says Some planted other irrigated, but God gave the growth. This gives us the idea that there were parties in the early Church. Today this problem has increased. What counts are not always the interests of the Kingdom of God or of the churches, but our interests. That absurd thing! But unfortunately that's the way many communities try to walk. So your work does not yield, lives are saved and people don't grow in the spiritual life. Are many years in the Church and are still babies in faith. Are always geared for small things to the detriment of big things. Are the fights, the divisions that predominate and this undermines the work of the Lord.
Secondly we perceive in the text, God sending the Prophet raking the two pieces to make them one piece. God says when that happens I'll Act. The people will be blessed and I will establish a just Kingdom and the throne of David will be in may it forever. Darlings and dear we all know that the throne of David is the throne of Christ Jesus. The Messianic Kingdom was called the Kingdom of David. Interestingly, the durability of that Kingdom. What is? Forever. Eternal. Then the text limits and Judah and Israel in the past in terms of people and geographical and acquires eternal dimensions. That's why I draw attention to the fact that we're on the same biblical text thinking in the Church as the people of God. She is the new Israel of Desus. In the same way as the old Israel suffered the new divisions (Church) also suffers. But in the same way that God was not happy with the Division of the old people he is not happy with the divisions in our communities today. Works through his prophets for there to be one people and one Kingdom. I am absolutely sure that as soon as we changed our vision of the Church as God's Kingdom our behavior also changes and the work of God entrusted to us thriving in every way, numerically, in grace, in communion, financially. Because we will be facing our interests little ones and we will be facing the big things related to Rino of God.
We have our minds focused on the greatness of the King of God. Let us try to ruin everything you bring divisions in Church and work for the unity of the body of Christ. The Lord didn't want the Division there in the past and didn't want today. He's still sending their prophets raking the pieces and form one. So he blesses and the open grows. Amen.
