PASTORAL WORD - AND YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH AND ... (Jon 8:32).

My brothers and my sisters today we live in a time when there are so many things going through truth, however are not. But what really impresses is in the confusion that exists goes green and lie although the two things are totally opposite to each other. But is and are opposite so there shouldn't be any confusion between the two. In principle Yes. But not in practice. To beginning of reasoning comes to philosophy saying that everything is relative. And in this where everything is relative the truth and the lie are also placed. In trying I ask: the philosophical position is correct? We can actually put all things, specially the truth and  the lie in the field of relativity? So how would Jesus

John 14: 6 Says the master: I am the I walk, truth and life ... How would that. Well since you're talking about philosophy Let's quote Plato who said: the definite article before the substantive puts this noun as absolute. Or be: when Jesus says Green depletes the whole idea of truth in him. ere is no other full-fledged Rabbi out of Jesus. Very well back then to our theme: Know the truth and the truth shall make you free. It's like saying: Know Jesus and Jesus will make you free.

Of course now we enter the realm of faith, in the field of religion in the truest sense of the term. The region comes from the Latin verb relicare which means reconnect. So religion is the same as rewiring. Because I said so all need religion. Not an empty religiosity, but in the true sense of the word, because we all fall into Adam (Gen. Chapter three) and with that we turned off of God and to return have to rewire it. Here comes the sense of the word Religion, which means rebind. Jesus was arguing with a supposedly religious group. The Pharisees. This chapter of the Gospel of John is very interesting. Although religious Jews didn't understand what Jesus was talking about and contended. Jesus realizes there is a slavery domination them and then speak: you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. That is to say, you are living under the slavery of the lie. Now, these people thought to be living in truth in terms of faith and religion and was not. Jesus was the truth and they didn't know him. So were being slaves of the lie in terms of faith and religion. But nowadays there is also this sort of thing? Yes. I believe that still stronger than in the time of Jesus. The "Christianity" of today is divided into many parts and the reason of it? We are relative the Green within the own Christianity. What does it mean? No doubt it is the behavior of each group thinking that his is the absolute truth. Meanwhile another group also feels the same way and with this growing divisions and each believing to be correct in fact. The worst thing about all this is that all run the risk of not being even though it is actually Jesus Christ. Friend and Dear our truths may not be true. Are our "truths". Or be: truths according to our concept of truth that may be wrong. But how do you know if we're right or not? Obviously knowing Jesus. Jesus is the undisputed truth, which cannot be mistaken. To find out if I'm in the Green I need to know who I'm following. Is Jesus Christ, or what they say about him? Not always what you claim about Jesus is true. Need to evaluate myself or myself to see if I am in Christ Jesus himself. Then Yes. After you have made sure that I am in Christ I can't believe that I'm tracking the truth and with that I'm free. Because freedom only comes through Jesus Christ.

My beloved brothers and my beloved sisters at this moment of turbulence in the field of faith seek to be with Jesus Christ. In it we will be safe. Amen.

Rev. Jesué Francisco da Silva.
