My dear brothers and dear sisters, My dears I want
to reflect with you today about the need we all have to persevere in faith. But
today I'm talking about another kind of perseverance. Normally we speak of
perseverance, but in terms of addition. After. We tell it that it is necessary
to endure to the end to enter into eternal life. This is also true.
Perseverance until the end to be saved. Also true. But today I need to tell you
about another kind of perseverance. There is a need to have another kind of
constancy in God besides those set forth here. But pastor that kind of
perseverance you'd be talking about? I wanted to start talking about something
we see happening in our day and often among us and we don't stop to think how
if that wasn't serious. But it's very serious and we can have dire consequences
we can only begin to understand if we don't change our lives as a matter of
urgency and concepts. I couldn't tell you what happens in all the churches when
a person comes to your book list. Why speak of the Methodist Church, knowing
that the other also lead people to assume commitment before God in the presence
of the Church before they were received. And people will only be received after
responding positively to questions. In the case of the Methodist Church between
all the issues there are that are practiced in daily life of the Church such
as: Sustain the Church in prayer, in love, financially with our "regular"
contributions these contributions should not be sporadic, once in a while, but
always with irregular punctuality so that God's work does not suffer in its
process of continuity. Presence. Ah! How this commitment has been reneged on by
us! It's amazing how missed to worship at Sunday schools. Missed and don't give
any satisfaction to anybody. Such time for thinking I shouldn't and our problem
is with God and we will resolve directly with him. Dear God established
authorities here in this world to connect people to his Church and also to turn
off. He doesn't come here personally to receive people who accept Jesus as
Savior, but establishes people to do this on your name. Darlings and dear I am
referring here to our faults in the work of the Church as if that was not of
extreme gravity bad sisters and brothers because we did vote of being present
in the Church, in front of God and of his Church and even more said to be loyal
to it. What happens when you don't keep this commitment? Of course we're being disloyal.
We're breaking the vow we made a day if done seriously. And if we didn't
seriously lied before God and his Church, which would be a disaster. I'm not
getting here on the other issues of the Bible verse quoted, but I call
attention to the perseverance. The text says not only prayer, but in
persevering prayer.
Darlings and dear brothers and sisters, we really
have been steadfast and constant in the work of God? Look at our services and
see how many are here all the time. If they missing and missing with a huge
frequency and is going on breaks to vote and lack of compliance with the
commitments to God and his Church. We deceive us into thinking that God will
leave for less. He won't. That's why I appeal: Let's change this now while we
still have time to repent of this sin. That God have mercy on me and you and
help us correct this habit of taking things to church without commitment and
